Microsoft SQL Server 2000 所有安裝都需要 Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0。Microsoft 管理控制臺 (MMC) 和 HTML 幫助也需要 Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0。最小安裝已足夠，而且 Internet Explorer 不必是默認瀏覽器。

網(wǎng)絡(luò)軟件要求
Microsoft Windows NT、Windows 2000、Windows Me、Windows 98 和 Windows 95 都具有內(nèi)置網(wǎng)絡(luò)軟件。只有在使用 Banyan VINES 或 AppleTalk ADSP 時，才需要其它網(wǎng)絡(luò)軟件。Novel NetWare IPX/SPX 客戶端支持由 Windows Networking 的 NWLink 協(xié)議提供。
注：SQL Server 2000 的某些功能要求在Microsoft Windows 2000 Server以上的版本才能運行。因此大家安裝Windows Server 2000(建議為Advanced版本)，可以學(xué)習(xí)和使用到SQL Server 2000的更多功能，以及享受更好的性能。
